Barbara Fagan-Smith, Family ROI Founder & Managing Director

Barbara Fagan-Smith

Barbara Fagan-Smith

Barbara developed the initial concept for Family ROI™ several years ago when she was experiencing stress in her own family. She realized that while many successful people pour a lot of themselves into their work, few invest the same energy into the most important area of their lives, their families. Barbara has been an entrepreneur, journalist and business communications executive and consultant for more than 20 years. In addition to starting Family ROI, she is the founder and CEO of a business consulting firm that helps companies adapt and succeed in times of change. Her firm counts many Fortune 500 companies as clients, and has won dozens of awards. However, she considers her biggest accomplishment to be her family, which includes her husband Colin and their two young daughters Emma and Marina. Through them, she has realized that business “best practices” can be successfully applied to the family. Barbara is dedicated to helping families be the best they can be, which is why she founded Family ROI.
